Well worth a visit The museum covers German history from Roman times to the present day and does so in a chronological order. There are many interactive elements throughout the journey which help to hold one's interest along with reconstructions of things like rooms in a DDR house, a Ubahn compartment and being on the front line during WW1.
Make this your first museum to visit when you reach Berlin! We had such a great time at Deutschlandmuseum and this should be the first museum anyone should go to when you step foot into Berlin. It gives adult and children a quick understanding of the German history in an engaging and interactive way! We also want to thank Ina for her hospitality from start to end! She made the effort to interact with her guests, and her multi-lingual ability is just amazing! She went the extra miles to check in with us after the tour and even share some good German food to try for the rest of our trip!
A fun museum For some people, the words fun and museum just don't go together. This museum makes that fusion possible. There are hands-on opportunities for learning and the reading isn't overwhelming. We learned a great deal and enjoyed the entire experience.
ADHD friendly!!!!!! The best museum I have ever been to! I have ADHD and normally can not do museums but this was absolutely incredible! Highly recommended! So well done and the attention to detail was incredible!!!!
