Well worth a visit The museum covers German history from Roman times to the present day and does so in a chronological order. There are many interactive elements throughout the journey which help to hold one's interest along with reconstructions of things like rooms in a DDR house, a Ubahn compartment and being on the front line during WW1.

We had such a great time at Deutschlandmuseum and this should be the first museum anyone should go to when you step foot into Berlin. It gives adult and children a quick understanding of the German history in an engaging and interactive way! We also want to thank Ina for her hospitality from start to end! She made the effort to interact with her guests, and her multi-lingual ability is just amazing! She went the extra miles to check in with us after the tour and even share some good German food to try for the rest of our trip!

I thought this was an great museum. We went through the whole thing in about two hours, but we did do a lot of reading and we took a lot of the quizzes. We barely had to wait for anything, even though there was a good amount of people. I thought the experience was really fun. I see other people commenting negatively that it was boring, but I actually thought it was good and I was very entertained. My fiancé loves history and is quite versed in German history and he also found it to be one of his favorite museums. His 11 year old godson also had a lovely time.

Wonderful museum giving an overview of German history from Roman times to 1990. We went on a Thursday afternoon when it wasn't too busy. Had time to study the exhibits and wasn't rushed.

Great for families and school classes. Interactive introduction to German history. Especially loved the old German apartment and S-Bahn. Very cool!!! 👍

Really enjoyed this museum, so many fun interactive elements and very informative. The settings of the exhibition are immersive and the information is snappy and concise.

Visited with my nieces and it was fun for all of us. Very well made exhibits, beautifully designed spaces, lots to interact with and learn. It exceeded my expectations.

A fun museum For some people, the words fun and museum just don't go together. This museum makes that fusion possible. There are hands-on opportunities for learning and the reading isn't overwhelming. We learned a great deal and enjoyed the entire experience.

Learnt a lot about German history. Not something we hear about often in the UK. Definitely worth a trip

My sister and I really enjoyed it. We especially loved the printer press where you can make bookmarks. The only issue was that sometimes the writing went a bit fast on some of the interactive boards

ADHD friendly!!!!!! The best museum I have ever been to! I have ADHD and normally can not do museums but this was absolutely incredible! Highly recommended! So well done and the attention to detail was incredible!!!!

Amazing museum, the most complete museum about Germany and Berlin...highly recommended for anyone, but also specially for those about the take the Einbürgerungstest 😅

Deutschlandmuseum covers the German history from the beginning till today, not so deeply but we managed to glance over the whole history. There were a lot of interactive displays and my children enjoyed it a lot.

I enjoyed this museum, of the history of Germany. History can be actively experienced and learned here. From the Germanic Wars to the Middle Ages and the fall of the Wall, history is brought to life. A very good and catchy concept.

As other five star reviews have already said, this is a really great museum. I've been in museums in cities all around Europe and North America and this is up there with the very best, especially if you have children with you.

great and immersive experience. we booked tickets online and presumed entrance will be organised. it was so full of people though, we could‘nt do any of the quizzes and the likes so we just rushed and finished in a little longer than 30 min. other than that its a great experience

An impressive and unique museum that tells the story of the German people and Germany from the time of the Roman Empire up to the present day. There are many interactive stations that can really engage children. The place is thoughtfully planned and beautifully designed, making it enjoyable and educational for adults, teenagers, and kids alike. We’re not German, but we found ourselves reading and getting genuinely interested in German history thanks to the way everything is presented in this wonderful museum. A must-visit on any trip to Berlin!

We had a wonderful visit to the Deutschland Museum. The interactive exhibitions are thoughtfully designed, informative, and engaging for all ages. Our children were completely absorbed, learning so much about Germany’s rich and complex history in a way that was both accessible and memorable. One small issue we encountered was that a few adults changed the language settings back to German while our kids were still using the stations. It would be helpful if there were clearer guidelines or options to personalize the language settings per user. Still, this didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent and educational experience. Highly recommended for families and curious minds of all ages!

Great experience! Amazingly decorated trip through Germany's history. Although it may seem a bit rushed with small rooms focused on large historical happenings, the detailed interior and it being quite interactive with e.g. games makes it worth thr cost. Sometimes there will be qeues in front of information or mini games, so try not to get there during rush hour if you want to be able to read ecerything and play all games. I recommend!
